Stone Sour Reveal Spring Headline Tour Dates
Stone Sour have added more shows to their 2018 headlining tour in support of their latest album, Hydograd. The band revealed new dates scheduled for late April and May along with a few festival appearances. These new shows kick off April 28 – 29 at Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville, FL and wrap up May 19 in Columbus, OH. Joining them for this outing are Palaye Royale, The Bronx, and ’68. Check out the new dates below.
Frontman Corey Taylor recently revealed that guitarist Josh Rand will rejoin Stone Sour at the Welcome to Rockville festival. He last performed with the band on the ShipRocked cruise before announcing he had entered treatment for unspecified issues.
During an interview with rock station 104.9 The Wolf, Taylor said “he seems to be doing really, really well. And, like I said, we talk every day, he’s letting us know how he’s doing. And we just support him as much as we absolutely can. And when it comes to being a friend, that’s all you really can do — just be there for them. The best way to be a friend is just to stay right where you are and just let somebody lean against you if they need it, and that’s what we’re trying to do.”
After their headline tour, Stone Sour will support Ozzy Osbourne on the initial North American leg of his No More Tours 2, which starts August 30 in Allentown, PA.
