System Of A Down Team Up With Deftones For Special One Night Show

System of a Down and Deftones are teaming up for a special one-night-only co-headlining show.

The two bands will play Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California on August 17th. They’ll be joined by The Mars Volta, Viagra Boys, and VOWWS. The show will be the first after-dark performance at Golden Gate Park. It’s also System of a Down’s only performance this year outside of their own Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas.

“We are excited to be bringing such an iconic lineup to the city and what better venue than Golden Gate Park,” says Another Planet Entertainment president of concerts and festivals Allen Scott. “We are expecting fans from not just the Bay Area but from across the U.S. and internationally to travel to the city injecting money into the local economy. From hotels to local restaurants and everything in between, this will be a great night of music and a great economic boost for the city.”

Tickets start at $169, with VIP tickets starting at $399. Promoter Another Planet Entertainment will hold a pre-sale on Thursday, April 11th at 10 AM local time. General on-sale begins Friday, April 12th at 10 AM local time. Visit Golden Gater Park’s concert website for more information.
