The Black Keys Announce New Covers Album ‘Delta Kream’
The Black Keys have announced a new covers album, Delta Kream, out May 14th via Nonesuch Records.
The news was revealed through the band’s Lonely Boys & Girls fan club. The album pays homage to Mississippi Hill Country blues artists, such as John Lee Hooker, R.L. Burnside, and Ranie Burnette, who inspired the duo.
To preview the record, the band have shared their rendition of John Lee Hooker’s “Crawling Kingsnake.” The song is currently available as a fan club exclusive and will be released on streaming platforms on April 15th.

The Black Keys’ released their latest album, Let’s Rock, in 2019. Earlier this year, they released a 10th-anniversary edition of Brothers.
