The Cure Announce Eco-Vinyl Single ‘Novembre – Live in France 2022’

The Cure have announced their new double A-sided 12-inch eco-vinyl single called Novembre – Live in France 2022, out on October 1st.

The single features live recordings of new songs “And Nothing Is Forever” and “I Can Never Say Goodbye” captured at Montpellier’s Sud de France Arena on November 8, 2022, and November 13th in Toulouse respectively.

Though the songs have been a staple in The Cure’s setlists over the years, this is the first time they’ve been officially released. The single is limited to 5,000 individually numbered copies, with the first 100 copies signed by frontman Robert Smith.
The record will be released via the Naked Record Club, which specializes in records made with an injection-molding machine that uses 80-90% less electricity than traditional pressing machines. Highly recyclable plastics are used to create the packaging and the record.

All the profits will go to Brian Eno’s climate charity, Earth/Percent. “I’d like to thank The Cure and NAKED Record Club — both true innovators — for their generous support of vital climate projects through the release of The Cure – Novembre: Live In France 2022,” Eno said in a statement. “It’s a powerful example of how the music community can work together to build a better world.”

You can pre-order the record on Naked Record Club’s website on Friday, August 30th at 2 PM BST.
