The Struts’ Luke Spiller Announces Debut Solo Album

The Struts frontman Luke Spiller has officially announced his debut album, Love Will Probably Kill Me Before Cigarettes And Wine. The 10-song LP is due out on April 25th via Big Machine Rock.

Following the previously released title track, Spiller has shared new single “The Ending Is Always The Same,” which he says is “a classic scenario where you decide to break things off, but step into the murky waters of ‘let’s be friends’. Then, before you know it, you’re hooking up and getting back together and going through the cycle again. It’s a song that comes with a warning label. Don’t try this at home…”

Speaking about the album itself he says “In terms of big sound and theatrics, those come naturally to me,” That’s the way I’ve always written, and that wasn’t an issue. This was a case of finding great lyrics that told a great story with truth and vulnerability. I really wanted to tell my own story in this record.”
