Turnstile Returns With New Single ‘Mystery’

TURNSTILE have shared their new song “Mystery,” marking their first new music since 2018 Time & Space.

Beginning with a dreamy, atmospheric instrumental, the song quickly gives way to the crunchy guitars and intense stylings the band is known for. The song may not be a rager like their past material, but it’s still infectious and shows an exciting direction for the band.

A press release states “On ‘MYSTERY,’ TURNSTILE search for beauty and find peace in the unknown as they reject the notion of ‘normal.’ For TURNSTILE, there is no ‘normal,’ only their truth, and the endless possibility of magic when you remain open to the truth of others; singing praise to the infinite mysteries of the universe.”

While there’s no word regarding a new album, TURNSTILE is booked for several festival appearances this year, including Firefly Music Festival, Knotfest Iowa, and Louder Than Life.

Last year, TURNSTILE teamed up with Australian producer Mall Grab for SHARE A VIEW, a collaborative EP featuring reimaginings of three Time & Space tracks: “Real Thing,” Generator,” and “I Don’t Wanna Be Blind.”
