Twenty One Pilots Release New Song ‘Choker’

Twenty One Pilots have shared their new song “Choker” from their upcoming album Scaled And Icy.

The song’s accompanying video, directed by Mark C. Eshleman, sees singer Tyler Joseph visiting a mysterious toy store, while drummer Josh Dun reveals his magical powers. It doesn’t take long for strange happenings to occur centered around a small toy dragon that looks similar to the serpent on the Scaled And Icy album cover.

Twenty One Pilots’ new album, Scaled And Icy, drops May 21st via Fueled by Ramen.

Scaled and Icy is the product of long-distance virtual sessions and finds the duo processing their upended routines along with the prevailing emotions of 2020 – anxiety, loneliness, boredom, and doubt,” according to a release announcing the project.

“The duo had to forgo their normal studio sessions, but reached a new of level of introspection in the process, adopting a more imaginative and bold approach to their songwriting,” the release continued. “The result is a collection of songs that push forward through setbacks and focus on the possibilities worth remembering.”

Twenty One Pilots will celebrate the album’s release with a global livestream event, which takes place the same day the album drops on May 21st at 8 PM ET. It will ​“mark the live debut of new material from Scaled And Icy,” along with their numerous hits. Tickets available here.
