Unto Others Share ‘Pet Sematary’ Cover Just In Time For Halloween

Unto Others have shared the music video for their cover of The Ramones‘ “Pet Sematary” just in time for the spookiest day of the year.

During our interview with frontman Gabriel Franco, he called the song one of his favorites mainly because he’s a big Stephen King fan. “Pet Sematary was one of the first Stephen King books I read. We also played the song live and people…were really happy we played it. We kept getting requests to record it, so we did.”

Addtionally, Unto Others have announced a fall/winter North American tour. The trek kicks off on November 15th in Spokane, Washington, and wraps up on December 13th in Los Angeles, California. Tickets go on sale Friday, November 1st at 10 AM local time.

“As many of you know, five weeks ago our previously planned North American tour [with WASP] fell through. With very little time our excellent team has managed to keep us on the road,” says Franco in a statement. “We are making a point on this run to hit cities we do not travel to very often or have never played at all. There are still a few TBA’s right now, but we will keep you updated as we finish up the booking process.

“This will be our first headlining tour of the USA in three years, so expect a long set that covers our entire catalog, in small sweaty venues. If you don’t see your town here, we have plans to hit as many major U.S. cities as we can in 2025. Until then, thanks for your support.”

Unto Others’ latest album, Never, Neverland, is out now. Revisit our recent interview with Franco to learn more about the record.
