Ville Valo Announces 2024 World Tour To Close ‘Neon Noir’ Chapter

Ville Valo has revealed plans to bring his VV solo project and the Neon Noir album cycle to an end. But before that, he’ll set out on one more world tour next year.

“The idea behind VV and Neon Noir was to symbolically finish what HIM started, and after the bangs and whimpers at the Royal Albert Hall it’s time to reshuffle the pieces of the puzzle once again and give Herbert West a shout,” Valo explains.

He continues: “I had no expectations whatsoever when releasing music under the banner of VV, so I’ve been quite shocked to see people still find my kind of racket enjoyable, warts and all. Touring has been way less painful than I dared to hope, and as we say in Finland, it fits my arse like a glove. A mourning glove from a bygone era.”

Ville’s last VV tour in support of the album will start April 4th in Athens and wrap up May 10th in London. Check out the new dates below.

Ville Valo released his debut solo album Neon Noir earlier this year. The singer is set to bring back his curated Helldone Festival in his native of Helsinki, Finland to ring in the New Year. See all his dates here.
