Weezer Share Faithful Cover Of Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman’

Weezer have shared their cover of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” taken from The Metallica Blacklist album.

The cover stays faithful to the original yet Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo’s vocals help it stand out from the Metallica classic. And as a bonus, the band gives a quick nod to their own hit “Buddy Holly.”

The Metallica Blacklist drops September 10th. The album features covers of tracks from the band’s iconic “Black Album” from over 50 artists including,  Elton John, Depeche Mode‘s Dave Gahan, Miley Cyrus, J Balvin, St. Vincent, Phoebe Bridgers, Darius Rucker, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, My Morning Jacket, Weezer, PUPCage the Elephant, Kamasi Washington, Portugal. the Man, IDLESRoyal Blood, and Moses Sumney to name a few.
