Slipknot Wear 1999 Red Jumpsuits and Masks for First Show with New Drummer: Video + Setlist

Last Thursday (April 25), Slipknot played an intimate anniversary gig at Pappy & Harriet’s Palace in Pioneertown, California where they took fans back to 1999. The band came out in new red jumpsuits and masks fashioned after the band’s debut album look.

“Tonight it doesn’t matter where you came from, it doesn’t matter when you were born,” said frontman Corey Taylor. “This year is 19-fucking-99. We’re going to play you some songs from beyond that year, but goddamn it, it all started in ’99 and it is starting again here tonight.”

The 15-song set included five tracks from their self-titled debut, including “Eyeless,” “Prosthetics,” “Wait and Bleed,” “Spit It Out,” and “Surfacing.” They also played favorites like “People = Shit,” “Psychosocial,” and “Duality.”

Additionally, the band debuted their new drummer, which many speculate to be Eloy Casagrande, who abruptly left Sepultura earlier this year.

Enter Shikari announce remix album ‘Dancing On the Frontline’

Enter Shikari announce North American tour with You Me At Six, plus remix album

Enter Shikari have announced their new remix album, Dancing On the Frontline, out June 11th via SO Recordings. The album serves as a companion record to last year’s A Kiss For The Whole World.

“We’re exactly one year on from the release of A Kiss For The Whole World, so it feels like the right time to present all our output from this crazy year, along with some new treats, all in one place,” says frontman Rou Reynolds. “We’ve not had a lot of time or energy to do any Shikari Sound System mixes for a while, so it was great to be able to step back into that chair and remix Goldfish and Bloodshot. We tested out the Goldfish rework live on our UK and European tour and insanity ensued.”

The band have shared “Goldfish (Shikari Sound System remix)” as a preview. Listen to it below. Additionally, the band have announced a fall North American tour with You Me At Six. See those details here.
