FEVER 333 unleash new song ‘HIGHER POWER’
FEVER 333 have released their new single “HIGHER POWER,” following last month’s single “NEW WEST ORDER.”
“There are no diamonds to be produced without pressure,” the frontman explains of the meaning behind the track. “No lessons to learn without trials. HIGHER POWER revolves around these ideas and reveres the beauty in the adversity induced magic performed by marginalized communities.
“To exist in a world that challenges your very existence every day to some degree is one of the most magical acts I have ever witnessed. Here is my 2:43 soundtrack offering to that act.”

FIDLAR share new single ‘DOWN N OUT’
FIDLAR offer another preview of their upcoming album SURVIVING THE DREAM with their new single “DOWN N OUT.”
“This is a song about growing up, seeing yourself change, and not giving a fuck,” says Zac Carper of the song. “I gave up drugs to fall in love and I’ve gotta say: love is better than drugs.”
Listen to the song below.
Talking about the record, Carper says “This record is about doubling down on what you love. For us, it’s about playing shows and making music. Coming back after a few years away, our intention was to self-make an album that the three of us are stoked on. We’re very, very, very pumped on it and what’s to come. These songs are meant to be heard live with the fellow FIDIOTS going off.”

Smashing Pumpkins announce new album ‘Aghori Mhori Mei’
Ahead of their North American tour with Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins have announced their new album Aghori Mhori Mei, which arrives on August 2nd.
Speaking about the 10-track album frontman Billy Corgan says: “In the writing of this new album I became intrigued with the well-worn axiom, ‘you can’t go home again.’ Which I have found personally to be true in form but thought well, what if we tried anyway? Not so much in looking backwards with sentimentality but rather as a means to move forward; to see if in the balance of success and failure that our ways of making music circa 1990-1996 would still inspire something revelatory.”

Jack White drops surprise album
On Friday (July 19th), fans who visited Jack White‘s Third Man Records retail locations were surprised with vinyl copies of White’s new album.
Physical locations in Nashville, London, and Detroit gave away the album for one day only. The album does not have a title or artwork. Those fortunate enough to snag a copy are being encouraged by Third Man Records to rip the album and share it online.
Third Man shared a call to action on its Instagram Friday night asking fans to distribute the new record. Detriot public radio station WDET 101.9 FM accepted the request and played the entire album on air. A recording of the record has been uploaded to YouTube and White’s official Reddit page boasts a rip of the album to a Google Drive.
