Eminem has shared his heartfelt new video for “Temporary” featuring Skylar Grey.
The clip is made up of old home movies and photos of the rapper’s daughter, Hallie Jade. near the end of the video, we see recent footage of the two, including clips from Hallie’s marriage to Evan McClintock this past May. The video ends with Hallie giving her dad a Detroit Lions jersey with “Grandpa” written on the back along with a photo of her ultrasound.
Speaking about the track, Eminem said “A lot of people ask me am I afraid of death? The truth is, I think what scares me the most is not being able to say all the things I wanna say to you when I’m no longer here. So this song is for Hailie, for when that day comes.”

“was the last song we wrote for the record and the last to get cut once we decided we preferred the evenness and succinctness of 10 songs. About a person reaching the limits of denial, This Time exists on the thematic edges of Little Rope, an album wrestling with loss and its aftermath.”
The deluxe edition, out on November 1st via Loma Vista, includes three new songs, their Frayed Rope Sessions, and live songs recorded at their show at The Forum in Melbourne.
