While You Were Away: Warped Tour Officially Returns, New Music From Dream Wife, L.S. Dunes Announce Sophomore Album, And More
Time to start your week off right with the latest edition of While You Were Away. This week: new music from PVRIS and Dream Wife, plus Warped Tour officially returns next year, L.S. Dunes’ new album, and more.
Dream Wife share new single ‘Room 341’
Dream Wife have released a new standalone single “Room 341.”
Following their cover of t.A.T.u’s “All the Things She Said” in March, the new song is an upbeat rocker about living the cliched rock and roll lifestyle of partying all night and all day.
“‘Room 341’ is our tongue-in-cheek nod to the rock n roll motif of the ‘trashing the hotel room party’ – juxtaposing our lived reality of party hard on stage and sleeping hard back at the hotel,” the band said on Instagram.
“In fact as all of our first jobs as young adults were working in hotels we have more experience of the post party clear up than than the party itself… Room 341 brings together playful vocals and euphoric guitar lics to conjor a fantasy party of unicorns, mums and firefighters – possibly in London, Reykjavik or perhaps outerspace. Wherever the door is and whatevers behind it you better call the babysitter -it’s gonna be quite the party.”

PVRIS unveils new ‘F.I.L.T.H.’ mixtape
PVRIS have released their new mixtape entitled F.I.L.T.H.
The five-track EP features and was made by all female, non-binary, and queer personnel, including producers, engineers, and featured artists. The tracklist includes previously released singles “BURN THE WITCH” featuring Tommy Genesis and Alice Longyu-Gao, “THE BLOB” featuring LIGHTS, and “OIL & WATER.”
“’F.I.L.T.H.’ is a self-produced collaborative music project between friends and past tour-mates,” said Lyndsey Gnnulfsen. “I wanted to make a small project where some other female/non-binary artists could hop into the world of PVRIS and vice-versa, have as much control over the lyrics and music as they wanted and simply just have fun making some music together!
“Everyone had free rein to write what they wanted and add their own voice (figuratively and literally) to each track. All songs were created, mixed, mastered by women/non-binary friends and all were written and produced at home in my apartment and then completed on the road while on tour. Wish there was more time to make even more… hoping to more projects like this in the future! “

L.S. Dunes announce new album ‘Violet’
L.S. Dunes, the supergroup featuring singer Anthony Green (Circa Survive, Saosin), guitarists Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance) and Travis Stever (Coheed and Cambria), bassist Tim Payne (Thursday), and drummer Tucker Rule (Thursday), have announced their new album Violet, out January 31st.
“Violet is a sonic journey into the depths of every band member of L.S. Dunes,” said Stever. “The collaborative efforts to bring each song to a full potential came naturally. It’s the album that has always lived in us individually but could only be made together. It has melodies that have lived within me since I was a child. It was only with this band I would be able to find a place where they could find a home in song.”
In anticipation of its release, L.S. Dunes have shared their new single “Machines.” Watch the video below.

Warped Tour officially returns in 2025
It’s official. Six years after calling it quits, Warped Tour will return to three U.S. cities next year. The punk/emo festival will hold two-day events in Washington, D.C., Long Beach, California, and Orlando, Florida.
Warped Tour will take place at the RFK Stadium Festival Grounds in Washington, D.C, on June 14th and 15th; the Shoreline Waterfront (Marina Green Park) in Long Beach on June 26th and 27th; and Camper World Stadium Campus (Tinker Field) in Orlando on November 15th and 16th.
While the festival isn’t hitting many cities, founder Kevin Lyman says he isn’t against adding more stops in the future. “My body won’t take riding around on a tour bus for 40 cities,” he said. “If it works, we’ll look to the future to do more.”
So far, no bands have been announced but Lyman promises 70-100 acts at each stop. “We’re getting very, very selective in trying to find some unique twists to the lineup,” he remarked.
Pre-sale tickets start on Thursday, October 24th at 9 AM PT with prices starting at $149.98 (fees included) for a two-day pass.
