WYWA: Glastonbury 2025, Bury Tomorrow, Remembering Aaron Rossi, And More
What’s waiting for you in this week’s edition of While You Were Away? New music from Bury Tomorrow and Scowl, Glastonbury’s 2025 lineup, remembering former Ministry and Prong drummer Aaron Rossi, and more.
Bury Tomorrow unleash new single ‘Waiting’

Bury Tomorrow have dropped their new single, “Waiting.”
The latest cut from their upcoming album, Will You Haunt Me With That Same Patience, is about “rebirth,” according to vocalist Dani Winter-Bates and “the sense of going through the fire to emerge from the other side. Lyrically speaking, it delves into the lowest points of our lives where everything feels weirdly centred around yourself and in some way your misery, whether that’s loss, self-loathing, or poor experiences.
“Musically,” he adds, “Waiting is an opportunity to speed things up, make them more visceral, more violent. Whilst there have been heavy singles released so far like Villain Arc, this one will feel heavier to many. There’s something slightly more modern about its sound and it’s routed around rhythm and cadence, with a clear aim to hopefully move people as the song progresses.”

Will You Haunt Me With That Same Patience comes out on May 16th. Pre-orders can be found here.
Aaron Rossi, former Ministry and Prong drummer, dies at 44

Aaron Rossi, former drummer for Ministry and Prong, has died at the age of 44. He passed away on January 27th after suffering a severe heart attack. His death was officially announced last week on March 6th.
A post on Rossi’s Facebook page reads:
“It is with overwhelming sadness to share that on January 27, 2025, Aaron John Rossi passed away from a sudden, severe heart attack. Aaron was a force with his own gravitational pull. His powerful energy instantly captured you. If you saw him on stage, you were blown away by his immense power, speed and agility – and if you were lucky enough to know him in person, you were equally taken by his kindness, humor and humility. Aaron leaving us so soon is beyond devastating, but we know that he would not want to be remembered that way. He made us laugh and told us stories like it was his job.
We sincerely hope you will share some of your own stories of Aaron in the comments. There will be a Celebration of Life in the future and details will be shared as soon as possible. Aaron’s talent on the drums and his ear for music was incomparable – and his sound will live on forever. He will always be The Shredder, The Beast, The Big Dog. Rock In Peace, Aaron! We love and miss you!!!”
We extend our thoughts to Rossi’s family and friends during this difficult time. Revisit his past performances with Ministry and Prong below.
