In an unsurprising move, Foo Fighters have canceled all their remaining tour dates following the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.

“It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins,” the band wrote in a social media statement. “We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.”

Foo Fighters were in the middle of their South American tour when Hawkins was found dead in his hotel room in Bogota, Columbia on March 25th, hours before the band were to take the stage at Festival Estéreo.

The Regrettes share new video for ‘Anxieties (Out of Time)’

The Regrettes recently released their new single, “Anxieties (Out of Time)” along with its wonderfully colorful video.

“This was one I wrote at the beginning of the pandemic, and it encapsulates that impending doom, when it felt like everything in front of me was terrifying,” explains vocalist Lydia Night. “This was before I was even diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. I think a lot of people experienced similar feelings at the beginning of the world shutting down. The chorus is a reflection of that, we wanted it to sound like an anxious, panic attack pace like you’re running out of time and it feels like that to me.”

Of Further Joy as a whole, Lydia previously revealed: “That phrase ‘further joy’ summarised what it meant to be on the hamster wheel of constantly chasing happiness, but in turn, that’s what makes you unhappy. I was stuck in a loop of wanting to be better, wanting to be good, and therefore I couldn’t be here. I couldn’t be present.”

“Anxieties (Out of Time)” is taken from their upcoming album Further Joy, out April 8th via Warner Records.

Lamb of God and Megadeth have teamed up to record a new version of the classic Megadeth song “Wake Up Dead.” The new version features Randy Blythe on lead vocals with some extreme riffage from Dave Mustaine.

“We had a blast playing with Lamb of God on their cover of ‘Wake Up Dead,’” commented Mustaine in a press release. “Almost as much fun as we’re going to have playing every night on ‘Metal Tour of the Year.’ I’m looking forward to seeing everyone!”

Harry Styles is back with his new single “As It Was” from his upcoming album Harry’s House.

The song’s accompanying video features Styles in a red sequin jumpsuit performing an interpretive dance alongside his love interest, who dons a blue costume. Watch the Tanu Muino-directed clip below.

“Directing a Harry Styles video was a bucket list dream come true for me as he’s my favorite performer,” Muino said in a statement. “Shooting him was bittersweet as it was one of the happiest days of my life, but on the second day of the shoot, my country Ukraine was invaded so you can imagine the insane emotions we had while shooting. Me and my team from Ukraine poured so much love into this video and you can see it on screen. It will be a music video I will never forget and now I can happily retire.”

Harry’s House drops May 20th. Pre-orders can be found here.
