The White Stripes Share Two Classic ‘Get Behind Me Satan’ Performances

In celebration of their newly released greatest hits album, The White Stripes have been sharing classic performances from their archives.

Today (Dec. 9) they have shared two live performances from the Get Behind Me Satan era: “My Doorbell” and “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground,” recorded in September 2005 as a Live at VH1 Session in support of the release.

“Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” sees Jack White switch between guitar and piano throughout, while “My Doorbell” has Meg White ditch the drums for tambourine.

Recently, The White Stripes shared the animated videos for “Let’s Shake Hands” and “Apple Blossom.

The White Stripes’ new compilation album, The White Stripes Greatest Hits, is out now.
