Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, and Billie Eilish Lead 2025 Grammy Nominations
The Grammys have revealed the nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, with Beyoncé, Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, and Taylor Swift earning the most nods.
Beyoncé is in the lead with 11 nominations, including Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter, and Song and Record of the Year for “Texas ‘Hold Em.” She also received nominations in all four country music categories (eat your heart out, CMAs). This brings Beyoncé’s career nominations up to 99 total. Though the singer has won 32 Grammys, she still has yet to win Album of the Year. Also up for Album of the Year are Andre 3000, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charlie XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, and Jacob Collier.
Both Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish grabbed seven nominations, with both earning a nod in Song of the Year and Record of the Year. Charli XCX also earned seven nominations, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Dance/Electronic Album. Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift scored six nominations, while Sabrina Carpenter
Elsewhere, Green Day is up for three awards in Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance, and Best Rock Song alongside The Beatles, St. Vincent, IDLES, Pearl Jam, and The Black Keys. Eminem is up for three Grammys next year, including Best Rap Album for The Death of Slim Shady. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ score for Challengers is up for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media, Cage the Elephant earned a nod for Best Alternative Music Performance, while Gojira, Marina Viotti, and Victor Le Masn’s “Mea Culpa (Ah! Ça ira!)” is nominated for Best Metal Performance.
