Coheed And Cambria Share New Song ‘Shoulders’

Coheed And Cambria have shared their new song “Shoulders,” their first new song since last year’s “Jessie’s Girl 2” featuring Rick Springfield.

Talking about the song in a statement, frontman Claudio Sanchez said “In art, in your career, in relationships…no matter how much you give of yourself or try, you have to accept that not everything in life can be a perfect fit.”

Speaking with Heavy Consequence about the track he said “That’s kind of the message of ‘Shoulders’ and the thought that inspired it. I think the bold energy that comes from that riff gave me the confidence to express it.”

During the same interview, he mentioned that while the band has yet to announce a new album, “The [next] record is going to be what I hope people perceive this band to be in 2021/2022.”

Coheed and Cambria will embark on their summer co-headlining tour with The Used. The tour starts August 27th in Irvine, California, and wraps up September 24th in Jacksonville, Florida. The run marks the first time the two have toured together since 2003.
