Neck Deep Caught In Police Lockdown After Fatal Shooting
Welsh pop-punk band Neck Deep ran into a bit of trouble recently while on the Vans Warped Tour. Members of the band were involved in a police lockdown after a fatal shooting outside of the bar they were in. Bassist Fil Thrope-Evans posted tweets of the incident early this morning (July 6) recounting what happened. Evans then reminded people to “be safe out there” calling the world “a scary place.”
Check out his tweets below:
FYI last night a few of us were in a bar police lock down because there was a fatal shooting literally outside. Had to hide behind the bar — Fil Thorpe-Evans (@filisthorpe) July 6, 2017
Was pretty scary stuff. The point in me sharing this is just to remind everyone to be safe out there, the world can be a scary place — Fil Thorpe-Evans (@filisthorpe) July 6, 2017
Neck Deep are preparing to release their third album, The Peace and the Panic, which drops August 17 via Hopeless Records.
