Are The Cure Teasing The Release Of Their Long Awaited New Album?

It seems the wait for The Cure‘s long-awaited new album is almost over. The band recently sent out cryptic postcards to fans this week teasing their new album, Songs of a Lost World, along with the release date of November 1st.

Fans began speculating about the album’s release on Monday when the band changed their logo on social media and revealed a new website featuring the new logo and a sign-up for their mailing list.

Yesterday (Sep. 12), fans began receiving black postcards from the band that read “Songs of a Lost World” in scattered letters. Underneath are numbers 1, 11, and 24, which seems to be the release date for the new album. Fans have also spotted posters in the UK with the same information.

The Cure have been talking about the album for several years and have even debuted several new songs on tour including “And Nothing Is Forever,” “I Can Never Say Goodbye,” “Alone,” and “Endsong.”

So far, the band has not shared any further information about the new album.

Meanwhile, The Cure recently announced a 12-inch eco-vinyl single, Novembre – Live in France 2022 featuring two live recordings of And Nothing Is Forever” and “I Can Never Say Goodbye.” The single comes out on October 1st and 100% of the profits will benefit Brian Eno’s climate charity Earth Percent.

Spotted in Crawley, The Railway.
