Watch The National’s Bryce Dessner And Sufjan Stevens Cover David Bowie’s “Space Oddity”

Sufjan Stevens, The National’s Bryce Dessner, Nico Muhly and drummer James McAlister have teamed up in a supergroup that released a solar-system inspired album named Planetarium. The four musicians are currently touring in support of their collaboration.

Last night (July 10) the group covered David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” during their Paris gig. Watch fan-filmed footage of the cover below.

The group’s tour has three remaining dates, all off them in the US later this month.

21/07 – Oakland, CA @ Fox Theater

Sufjan Stevens and The National are also set to release a cover of a Leonard Cohen song next year.
