Editor-in-chief | After two years in PR, I now work as an Account Manager in an advertising agency in the beautiful city of Duesseldorf. I’ve been blogging for 7 years on several websites and started working as a freelance writer for music magazines in 2013. I believe in the social value of music and its power to change the world for the better. My favourite bands/artists are Green Day, Enter Shikari, Linkin Park, Marmozets, SWMRS, Lana del Rey, Paramore, Foo Fighters, Nirvana and too many more to list them all.
i really think that the beat bring down the song a little bit but the lyrics and the flow of his rap man !! my jaw almost hit the ground for real. We had a chat about the song with my hubby, about the beat. I’m not fond of it at all and I think it’s not working enough for the song, but in his POV the beat makes sense because like that the ppl are focussing on the lyrics and not on the beat. He’s making sense in a way. The first time i would have rated the song with a solid 8/10.. but after some additional hearing, I would give a 9/10 on max.
He got me really curious about the new album now because the whole 2,5 singles (Survival is not an official signle) have somehow three differents styles. I’m wondering about the whole album direction now.
I’m a huge fan of Em’s since his beginning, but not everything he makes is perfect. I’m not liking EVERYTHING because it’s Em’s work.
