Foo Fighters Reflect On 25 Years Together In Hilarious Documentary ‘Times Like Those’

The Foo Fighters aren’t going to let the pandemic stop them from celebrating their 25th anniversary. The band looks back at some of their career highlights in their new mini-documentary, Times Like Those.

The film opens with Star Wars inspired scrolling text that talks about the pandemic delaying their 25th anniversary:

“We did what so many others have done throughout this collective pause and made the most of the silence, sitting down together and using this time for contemplation, growth and an honest assessment of who we are as seen through the lens of who we have been.”

From there, the guys set up their own private theater, munch on popcorn, and look back at old footage and photos, reflecting on their career. Of course in true Foo Fighters fashion, it doesn’t take long for the jokes to start as Dave Grohl talks about episodes of “violent diarrhea” and getting into barbecue. Meanwhile, keyboardist Rami Jaffee gets grilled about how many toes he has while the others comment how he has “hobbit feet.”

The Foo Fighters will perform at the Ace Hotel December 15th as part of Amazon’s Holiday Plays concert series. Miley Cyrus, Lil’ Nas X, and Kiana Lede will also be a part of the series.

Foo Fighter’s new album, Medicine At Midnight, comes out February 5th.
