Hot Water Music Announce New EP ‘Shake Up the Shadows’

Punk rockers Hot Water Music have announced their new EP, Shake Up the Shadows, out May 24th on Epitaph Records.

The five-track EP was recorded at Black Bear Studios in Gainesville, Florida with soundman Ryan Williams, who worked with the band on their 2017 full-length album, Light it Up. The upcoming release sees them expand on themes of togetherness and unity.

Singer/guitarist Chuck Ragan explains, “I think we’re living in a really volatile and terrifying time where people are turning a blind eye to the hatred that’s happening in this world and thinking of themselves rather than the big picture. I think that sentiment is present in these new songs the way it has always kind of been there in our music.”

To give us a taste of the EP, the band has shared their new single “Rebellion Story.” Listen to it below. Click here to pre-order a copy of Shake Up the Shadows.

To celebrate 25 years together, Hot Water Music is playing anniversary shows around the world. They’ll play shows in North America, Europe, and the UK starting this summer and extending into 2020. Check out all their dates here.
