Salem Get Dangerously Kinky In New ‘Throat’ Video

Salem show off their kinky side in their new “Throat” video.

The black and white clip shows singer Will Gould handcuffed to a bed after being kidnapped. As he’s tortured guitarist/bassist Matt Reynolds tries to find Gould, but he soon realizes it’s too late.

“Being that ‘Throat’ is a song about obsession, we thought it would be a cool idea to base the video for the song loosely around Stephen King’s book, ‘Misery,'” the band says.

“We once again brought in Olli Appleyard of Static Dress to make the film, but we changed a few details in the story to better fit Salem. The key two being that it now takes place in a boudoir with padded walls, and that at the end of our story; everyone dies.”

In a recent interview with Kerrang! Gould confirmed that Salem’s next EP is done and should be released early next year. The band previewed new tracks presumably from the new EP during their K! Pit performance.

Creeper and Salem are booked to play Download 2021 alongside Biffy Clyro, Metallica, Korn, Mastodon and more.

Salem’s debut EP is out now.
