The Killers Announce New Album ‘Imploding The Mirage’

The Killers return with their new album Imploding the Mirage due spring 2020.

Imploding the Mirage is the follow up to 2017’s Wonderful Wonderful. Earlier this year the band released “Land of the Free,” a song in response to Donald Trump’s proposed border wall, institutional racism and the country’s failure to introduce substantial gun control reform. There’s no word on if the track will appear on the new album.

The Killers also announced dates for their UK/European tour. Starting in May, the band will embark on a nine-date arena tour of the UK, Scotland, and Ireland. They’ll be joined by Manic Street Preachers, Sam Fender, and Blossoms. Those who pre-order the new album by November 19th will get access to pre-sale tickets to the tour. The pre-sale starts Wednesday, November 20th. Click here for more information and to pre-order the new album.

Back in October, The Killers teased a list of potential songs on Instagram. It’s unclear if this is the tracklist for the new album.
