HIM’s Ville Valo Releases New EP ‘Gothica Fennica Vol. 1’

Ville Valo is back with new music!

The former HIM singer just released a new EP titled Gothica Fennica Vol. 1 that bears a strong resemblance to HIM’s sound. The EP features three tracks: “Salute The Sanguine”, “Run Away From The Sun” and “Saturnine Saturnalia.” There’s no word on whether or not this hints to a full album coming in the future.

Listen to the EP below.

Ever since the band ended in 2017, fans have been wondering what would be next for the singer. Last year, he returned with the project Ville Valo & Agents whose self-titled record was based on songs by late Finnish rocker Rauli “Badding” Somerjoki. Hopefully, there’s more coming from him in the future.

In March of 2017, HIM revealed that they would be embarking on a farewell tour, stating, “After a quarter of a century of Love and Metal intertwined we sincerely feel HIM has run its unnatural course and adieus must be said in order to make way for sights, scents and sounds yet unexplored. We completed the pattern, solved the puzzle and turned the key. Thank you.”
