L.S. Dunes drop new single ‘Violet’
Ahead of their highly anticipated second album, Violet, L.S. Dunes have released their new single “Violet.”
“I think ‘Violet’ is the song that fully encapsulates everything we do as a band. Frank brought the demo to the band as a fully structured song, and it seemed that we all just knew immediately what we had to do,” says bassist Tim Payne. “I hear quite a few elements from songs on Past Lives, but it’s filtered through the lens of a more established musical language between us, and we were able to take this already incredible song Frank wrote and elevate it to a place I don’t think any of us imagined it could go.”
Frontman Anthony Green adds: “This song is about someone getting exactly what they deserve. This song helped me get through the feeling of being ghosted.”
Listen to the song below. Violet comes out on January 31st.

The Amazons team up with Royal Blood on new single ‘My Blood’
The Amazons have shared “My Blood,” their new collab single with Royal Blood.
Produced by Royal Blood’s Mike Kerr and featuring drummer Ben Thatcher behind the kit, the song is a raucous rock anthem that explores “…why, when you truly believe in something, you can push yourself past the point of pain,” according to Amazons frontman Matt Thomson.
“It’s not something you can intellectualize, it’s something you feel. With age comes more responsibilities, obstacles, reasons to quit. But in ‘My Blood’ I wanted to illustrate a force out of our control, deep inside of us, that forsakes that rational thinking.”
Listen to the song below.
The Amazons’ new album 21st Century Fiction arrives on May 9th via Nettwerk Music Group. Pre-order it here.
