Sum 41 Party with Fans in New Video for “Goddamn I’m Dead Again”
After Deryck Whibley invited hundreds of fans out for a very special filming in Southern California earlier this spring, Sum 41 has released the high energy and mosh pit-filled music video for the guitar-charged rock anthem “Goddamn I’m Dead Again” via the Hopeless Records YouTube channel. On the video, singer Deryck Whibley says, “We’re very excited to release this new video for ‘Goddamn I’m Dead Again.’ This one is for the fans and by the fans. What you are seeing are dedicated Sum 41 super fans, not one extra and I love that. Thank you all for being apart of it and spending that Sunday afternoon with us!”
Reminiscent of past videos like “Fat Lip” and “In Too Deep,” this music video allows hard-core fans of the band, affectionately known as “Skumfuks,” to be a part of Sum 41 history forever. Complete with smashed guitars, circle pits, custom graffiti, an appearance from Left Shark and a few scenes that pay homage to classic Sum 41 video memories, this video truly brings to life what it means to be a head banging and continuously rocking Sum 41 fan.
Fans can purchase the current album “13 Voices”now in stores at Target, on iTunes or streaming on Spotify. The 10-track album was recorded, produced and engineered by singer Deryck Whibley at his home in Los Angeles and marks the band’s first LP in five years, following up 2011’s Screaming Bloody Murder. Previously released music videos from 13 Voices include “Fake My Own Death,” “War” and “God Save Us All (Death to POP).”
