Avi Kaplan Quits Pentatonix
A capella group Pentatonix is losing a member.
Avi Kaplan announced his departure in a heartfelt Facebook video, in which he explained his reasons for leaving the band and thanked fans for their support throughout the last six years.
Teary-eyed, he said that the six years with Pentatonix have been “the most unbelievable years of my life”, but he struggled to keep up with the fast pace of the band’s work.
Kaplan explained that he found it hard to cope with losing touch with his friends and family, but stated that he didn’t want to inhibit the band’s success.
However, Avi Kaplan will be performing with Pentatonix at their upcoming tour. He also assured his fans that he will continue making music.
