BABYMETAL Announce New Album ‘Metal Galaxy’
Japanese pop-metal sensation BABYMETAL return with new music this fall. The duo has announced the release of their third album, Metal Galaxy, which comes out October 11th via Cooking Vinyl Records.
According to a press release, the album “is about an odyssey the band must take to the Metal Galaxy, a trajectory thrust upon them by the Fox God sending the band on a darker path. Each song brings them closer to their desired destination.”
Metal Galaxy marks their first album without Yuimetal, who left the band last year to pursue a solo career under the name Mizuno Yui. Pre-order the album here.
BABYMETAL will embark on their first North American headlining tour this fall. The tour kicks off September 4th in Orlando, Florida and wraps up October 16th in Seattle, Washington. Swedish metal band Avatar will support most dates. See all their dates here.
