Bandcamp Friday Will Continue Through Rest Of 2020

Bandcamp has announced plans to continue it’s Bandcamp Friday series through the rest of the year, waiving its revenue share on all sales on the first Friday of every month to give musicians more money from each purchase.

Bandcamp Friday as a one-off in March to help artists affected by COVID-19, but after fans spent $4.3 million on music and merch, the digital platform decided to continue the series for the next three months.

“Because the pandemic is far from over, we’ll continue to hold Bandcamp Fridays on the first Friday of every month until the end of the year.” Bandcamp said in a statement.

Upcoming dates take for Bandcamp Friday are August 7th, September 4th, October 2nd, November 6th and December 4th.
