Ted Feldman, the founding guitarist, and songwriter of New York rock band Bear Hands, has left the band.

The group broke the news on their Twitter account wishing Feldman luck in his new creative endeavors:

After 12 years, it is with deep sadness that Bear Hands announces the departure of founding member, guitarist and songwriter Ted Feldman. We’re gonna miss him lots, and while it hurts to say goodbye, we offer only love and support for his choice to pursue new creative endeavors.
