Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong continues his “No Fun Mondays” series with his latest cover of The Starjets’ “War Stories.”
The accompanying video features footage from the animated fan video for The Longshot’s “Turn Me Loose.” It shows hastily scribbled versions of Armstrong, Kevin Preston, and David S. Field.

Armstrong will perform on a remote edition of The Late Late Show with James Corden tonight (April 28th) on CBS at 12:37 AM/11:37 PM CST. Recently, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer were forced to postpone Hella Mega tour European dates due to the coronavirus. At this time, the North American leg of the tour is still booked.
