Corey Taylor Announces Socially Distanced ‘CMFTour’

As most 2021 tours and festivals continue to be canceled due to the pandemic, Corey Taylor is ready to return to the stage. The Slipknot frontman has announced dates for his socially distanced solo tour.

The 19-date “CMFTour” kicks off May 18th in Tempe, Arizona, and wraps up June 19th in Lincoln, Nebraska. Support on all dates comes from special guests The Cherry Bombs.

“It’s been too long,” Taylor says. “I’m very excited to get back on the road this spring for the CMFTour featuring special guests Cherry Bombs! Pre-sale tickets are available today, March 17th at 10 AM local, with all remaining tickets on sale to the general public on Friday, March 19th.”

According to a press release, Taylor and his band will perform favorites from his debut solo album CMFT along with choice cuts from Slipknot and Stone Sour catalogs and even various covers and surprises.

Check out all the dates below.

Taylor previously alluded to the solo tour during an interview with 98 KUPD:

“[It will be a] short tour – probably about three weeks. Some of the places we’ll be doing two nights in one city. It’ll be completely social-distanced, which means there’ll be pods with space around it, and the only people allowed in the pod are the people who came with that group. [There will be] temp checks at the door, and you have to have proof of a negative test within 48 hours [of the show], or you won’t be let in at all.”
