Deftones Announce Global ‘White Pony’ Listening Party
Tomorrow (June 20th) Deftones‘ third album, White Pony, turns 20 years old. To celebrate the occasion, the band has announced a White Pony global listening party.
The event will be held on the band’s YouTube channel on Monday, June 22nd. Fans can tune in at different times depending on where they’re located. Check out the details below.
“As its 20 year anniversary approaches, we invite you to our #WhitePony global listening party – taking place Monday, June 22, on our YouTube channel,” said the band via Instagram.
Earlier this week, Deftones held a global press conference to commemorate the album’s 20th anniversary. During the event, they revealed plans to reissue the album with a bonus remix disc titled Black Stallion later this year. The band also spoke about the possibility of playing the album in its entirety live.
“When everything shut down a few months back, whatever, we were just getting ready to go to Australia,” says singer Chino Moreno. “I wouldn’t be against doing a show with the record in its entirety at some point or another. Maybe one day…”
