Empire State Bastard Share Chaotic Live Video For ‘Harvest’

Empire State Bastard, featuring Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil, Mike Vennart, and Dave Lombardo, have shared their music video for their debut single “Harvest.”

Directed by Nick Suchak, the video features live footage from all three shows on the tour and captures the band’s intense, raw energy on stage. Watch the video below.

The concept for Empire State Bastard was born out of hang out sessions between Neil and Vennart, who spent time sharing the most heavy, avant-garde, and violent music they could find. After decade from its conception, the project is finally seeing the light of day with a collection of songs that “probes slamming hardcore in the vein of Siege; the frenetic, visceral thrash of Slayer; the claustrophobic sludge of Melvins; the freeform vocal dexterity of Mike Patton; and the gargantuan stoner riffs of Sleep.”

Empire State Bastard have a run of international festival shows booked for this summer, including appearances at Download Festival, HellFest, 2000trees, and Malakoff. Check out all their dates here.
