Franz Ferdinand Unleash New Single ‘Hooked’
In anticipation of the release of their new album on Friday (Jan. 10), Franz Ferdinand have shared their new single “Hooked.”
Keeping in line with their dance/post-punk infused sound, the song is about “sliding into midnight,” according to frontman Alex Kapranos. “it’s a nighttime prowl of a song. If we all have the humn fear, then that’s alright when you’re hooked.”

“Hooked” follows previously released singles “Audacious” and “Night Or Day.” This past weekend, Franz Ferdinand debuted new song “Bar Lonely” on CBS Saturday Sessions. Watch that performance below.
