Gorillaz Announce ‘Song Machine Live’ Virtual Performance

Gorillaz have announced Song Machine Live, a virtual concert that marks the group’s first live performances since 2018. The shows will air December 12th and 13th via LIVENow.

The three shows will be broadcast live across three different time zones. Damon Albarn will be joined by Noodle, Murdoc, Russel, and 3D to perform songs from their upcoming album Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez along with old favorites. Guest artists will be announced at a later date. Tickets are on sale now. Check out the trailer below.

Gorillaz will release all the tracks from season 1 of Song Machine on the upcoming album, Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez, out October 23rd. The album will feature the previous six Song Machine tracks, along with new collaborations with Beck, Elton John, 6lack, Leee John, Kano and Roxani Arias. They recently shared the new song “Strange Timez,” their collaboration with The Cure’s Robert Smith. Listen to that here.
