Pink, Panic! At The Disco, Sara Bareilles And More Appear On ‘Greatest Showman’ Soundtrack

The best selling soundtrack of 2018 is getting reimagined and it looks awesome. Variety revealed the tracklist for The Greatest Showman – Reimagined, out November 16 via Atlantic Records, features covers of the musical score from various artists.

The soundtrack features covers from P!nk (“A Million Dreams”), Kelly Clarkson (“Never Enough”), Sara Bareilles (“Tightrope”) and Panic! At the Disco (“The Greatest Show”) to name a few. The album also includes a remix of “This Is Me” featuring Missy Elliot, Kesha, and Keala Settle.

Speaking with Variety about the album, Panic! At the Disco’s Brendan Urie said “Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are phenomenal writers. They sent that song over and said, ‘We think you should sing this.’ And I heard it and I was like, ‘This sounds like a Panic! song. You guys did a Panic! song better than I’ve ever done a Panic! song. So I would love to.’”

Inspired by 2017’s Hamilton Mixtape, which included artists like Chance the Rapper and Alicia Keys reinterpreting songs from the musical, Atlantic Records West Coast president Kevin Weaver says the covers album  “felt like it warranted something much more significant and robust. Then you had people like Pink and Selena Gomez and other artists who were on social media posting themselves dancing to and singing the songs. And that was part of kind of what went into my epiphany that we have something that’s not only connecting with the masses, but it’s connecting with artists.”
