Linkin Park “Dunk to Death” in New Video

Linkin Park didn’t promise too much when they said in a recent interview that the video for their new song “Good Goodbye” featuring Pusha T. and Stormzy would be different to their old ones. In the clip, which was released earlier today, Chester Bennington has to play an extra mean dunk contest with his supernatural opponents flying to the hoop and dying a gruesome death when they lose. The video channels a ton of pop culture’s classics such as Supernatural or Mortal Kombat.

Linkin Park enlisted former NBA super star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who has a super creepy role in what he calls “one of the coolest videos ever made“! What do you think about the video? Find out if Chester survives the contest by watching the video below.

The “Good Goodbye” video shows that the Linkin Park guys don’t take themselves to seriously and most importantly: they are super comfortable with what they’re doing. A great response to the on-going criticism about their recent genre change.

Linkin Park’s new album One More Light will be released on May 19. The band has just announced a massive North American Tour.
