My Chemical Romance Share First New Music In Nearly A Decade

It’s finally happening!!

My Chemical Romance have surprised released their new single “The Foundations of Decay” marking their first new music since 2014’s “Fake Your Death.” Listen to the song below.

“The Foundations of Decay” is the band’s first output since reuniting in 2019. The band were set to embark on a full-scale reunion tour in 2020, but were forced to postpone it twice due to COVID.

My Chemical Romance will finally set out on their long-awaited tour next week in the UK. From there, they’ll play global shows with a roster of opening acts, which include Badflower, Devil Master, Dilly Dally, GHÖSH, Kimya Dawson, Meg Myers, Midtown, Nothing, Shannon and the Clams, Soul Glo, Surfbort, Taking Back Sunday, The Bouncing Souls, The Homeless Gospel Choir, The Lemon Twigs, Thursday, Turnstile, Waterparks, and Youth Code. The band will also headline this year’s Riot Fest in Chicago alongside The Original Misfits and Nine Inch Nails. Single-day, two-day, and three-day passes for Riot Fest are on sale now.
