Night Riots Announce Hiatus

After nearly a year of silence, Night Riots returned with a status update on the band. And it’s not good news.

The band revealed on social media that they plan to step away from the band and pursue other avenues “for the foreseeable future.”

“As you may have noticed – and we just realized – we have been absent for the better part of the year,” they say in a statement. “With all the craziness and uncertainty going on in the world, we have decided to take a step back from making music full time. As we have grown and evolved as people, we have each discovered that there are exciting new avenues of life that we are ready to explore.”

They assure fans this isn’t goodbye forever, rather they’re “taking a breath and looking at other aspects of life we wish to pursue.”

They also shared new demos, remixes, and live tracks from their latest album New State of Mind to celebrate its one-year anniversary. Check those out and read their full statement below.

Night Riots released their second album, New State of Mind, last year. After its release, they embarked on a headlining tour, which was later canceled. They released acoustic tracks from New State of Mind in December.
