The Spice Girls Are Back!
Do you need some more spice in your life? No need to worry because the Spice Girls are officially back! The band released a press statement announcing their return, which includes Victoria “Posh” Beckham, along with their future plans:
“We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for The Spice Girls. The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together. We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations.”
Prior to the announcement, the girls were pictured together in London along with their former manager Simon Fuller. According to various reports, the group is looking at several offers, including a TV talent show.
The Spice Girls previously reunited in 2007 and embarked on the Return of the Spice Girls world tour. They joined forces again four years later for the launch of their musical Viva Forever! They also performed at the closing Olympic ceremony in London that year.
We’re definitely excited to hear about the Spice Girls’ return! Let’s hope another tour isn’t far behind.
