The Cure Expand 2023 North American Tour

After the nightmare that was buying tickets for The Cure’s upcoming North American tour, frontman Robert Smith promised fans extra shows. Now, those shows have been announced.

The Cure have added four dates for their highly anticipated tour. The band will now play additional shows in San Diego, Montreal, and Atlanta. They also added a show in Portland on May 31st. According to Smith, those with a previously issued, but unsuccessful verified fan code will get first access to tickets when they go on sale Friday, April 7th. Remaining tickets will go on sale Saturday, April 8th.

See Robert’s updates below.

In a separate tweet, Smith mentioned shows in Mexico and seven of the 12 sovereign state of South America that will be announced by the end of the month.

Smith has proven to be Ticketmaster’s worst enemy. After fans complained about spending more on fees than the ticket itself, Smith called out the ticketing giant and forced them to provide refunds to those affected. In an effort to make sure fans could get tickets, he also rallied against scalpers and had over 7,000 scalped tickets canceled. He told fans if they believe their tickets were wrongly canceled to contact Ticketmaster Support. He closed with, “THIS ONGOING TM ‘CONVERSATION’ IS NOT TAKING PLACE IN A VACUUM… THE SYSTEM THAT VALUES PROFIT OVER PEOPLE IS REALLY WHAT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED.”

The Cure kick off their nearly sold-out North American tour May 10th in New Orleans, Louisiana. Check out all the dates below.
