Tyla Yaweh Rides Shotgun With Billie Joe Armstrong In New ‘High Right Now’ Video

Tyla Yaweh rides around with Green Day‘s Billie Joe Armstrong in his new remix music video “High Right Now.”

Armstrong appears as Yaweh’s chauffer while the rapper enjoys a smoke. Wiz Khalifa and Post Malone also make appearances in the video. Watch it below.

The song also uses a sample from Green Day’s “Boulevard of Broken Dreams.” To the tune of the hit song, Khalifa sings “I board a private plane, that’s the only flight I’ve ever known/I roll up to the face, sometimes I don’t share, I smoke alone.”

Speaking about the sample to Fader, Yaweh said “When you hear Wiz used a sample from Green Day we were wondering how the hell we were going to clear it. But then, I’m on tour with Post Malone and end up seeing Billie Joe Armstrong backstage. I played him the record and he loved it and said he was gonna clear it!! We needed up become good friends from there and we all ended up making this iconic stoned circle shot happen!”

The original version of “High Right Now” appears on Yaweh’s debut project Heart Full of Rage, released last year.
