Chromatics Return With New Single ‘TOY’

Chromatics return with their follow up to 2019’s Closer to Grey with their new single “Toy.”

Produced by Johnny Jewel, the track was released in three versions: the original, a stripped down version called “Toy (On Film),” and an instrumental version called “Toy (Instrumental).” All three versions are currently available for streaming.

“It’s a song about trying to forget someone you’re still in love with even though they treat you like an object,” singer Ruth Radelet said in a statement.

Recently, Chromatics released a 47-track deluxe edition of Closer to Grey, which marked their first album in seven years. The new edition features alternate takes of tracks along with remixes and instrumentals of all the songs on the album.

Chromatics have several shows booked for the year, including appearances at Primavera Sound and Flow Festival in Helsinki. Check out all of their dates here.
