Watch Lorde’s Magical Stripped Down “Melodrama” Concert
In cooperation with Vevo, Lorde has reimagined six tracks of her hit record Melodrama. The stripped down acoustic performances of the songs “Hard Feelings/Loveless”, “Writer in the Dark”, “Homemade Dynamite”, “Supercut”, “Sober” and “The Louvre” were filmed at New York’s infamous Electric Lady Studios. Melodrama producer Jack Antonoff also appears in the video.
“I don’t really do acoustic sessions or anything, but with this record, it had roots in acoustic instruments, in live musicianship,” Lorde explains in the first video of the playlist.
