Motionless in White Get Digital on New Song, Announce Album

Motionless In White have announced their new album, Scoring the End of the World, out June 1oth via Roadrunner Records. To preview the record, the band have shared lead single “Cyberhex.” Listen to it below.

Speaking about the new song, frontman Chris Motionless says:

“‘Cyberhex’ is my love letter to you, our fans, for everything you have done for me over the course of some of the most mentally taxing few years I’ve had to go through. At times where I felt like my world was ending, as well as the world around us, it was always in my mind that I was able to turn to the special relationship we have created together for help, and I cannot thank you enough for that. Outside of my own personal experiences, it has been equally as fulfilling to me to see that in the face of tireless forces that continue to try and perpetuate hatred and negativity towards so many of us coexisting on this planet, we have all stood together to resist and fight back knowing that love and compassion will always prevail. We ARE the resistance. We ARE Cyberhex. I love you. Thank you.”

Alexisonfire is back! The band recently announced their new album, Otherness, their first in 13 years. The album drops June 24th via Dine Alone Records.

The album marks their first release since 2009’s Old Crows/Young Cardinals. Two years later, the band announced they were breaking up. They reunited from a string of shows in 2015 and finally shared their first track in nine years, “Familiar Drugs,” in 2019.

In anticipation of the record, the band shared the new single “Sweet Dreams of Otherness,” which singer George Pettit explains as being “largely [guitarist-vocalist] Dallas [Green’s] brain child, but over the course of writing this record, it became more of a mission statement for the band. It’s kind of about performance and embracing a new found confidence in a state of peculiarity.”
